Spoken Word has proven itself to be an outstanding outlet for students to share their voice in a safe, supportive, and competitive environment, and Spoken Word takes the health and safety of its students, families, and staff very seriously.

Spoken Word has continued to monitor the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation very closely, and has balanced the guidance of public health officials with the national trends to limit travel and large gatherings whenever possible.

As such, the Indianapolis Public Library, where Spoken Word was to be held, has cancelled upcoming events.  Which at this time means we are cancelling Spoken Word, originally planned for March 21, in Skokie, IL.

Watch for Updates

We will post necessary updates on all communications channels, including the Spoken Word website, via email, and on this page.

Always an innovator, Spoken Word is looking into alternative possibilities to hosting the event, virtually or online.  Please look for updates soon.
