Two 11th grade students from HSA Columbus High School, Christina Amnathphonthip and Anab Sharif, have been accepted to the 8th Annual Young Writers Workshop at Ohio State University this summer.  Through the encouragement of their teacher, Colin Poulson, they applied and were selected from more than 70 applicants throughout the Columbus area.  Anab and Christina will spend a week living on campus and studying writing with writers from around the country, including current students and alumni of the Department of English’s MFA Program in Creative Writing.  They were selected based on the promise of their writing and have received full scholarships to cover the cost of their participation.  We congratulate them on their accomplishments.  For more information on the workshop go to https://english.osu.edu/grad/mra/young-writers-workshop.
