The 2016/2017 Concept Schools’ Speech and Spoken Word competition was held on March 11th in Indianapolis Indiana.  Under the leadership of Clare Brooks, Director of Social Studies, students performed in four categories addressing the theme: The Time Is Now #ElectToSpeak.  It was a truly amazing day, the students proved just how fearless and powerful they are and the messages that they had to convey.  There were so many great performances that the judges had a really hard time deciding the winners which resulted in several ties in the categories.
