At Spoken Word, we want to address developments in the status of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Indiana and questions regarding travel and attendance.
Spoken Word continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation very closely, and is following the guidance of public health authorities. Which at this time means we are going forward with Spoken Word on March 21. At this time, there are no general restrictions to travel to Indianapolis. We encourage everyone to join us in following public health advisories by taking all of the appropriate personal hygiene measures being recommended. Click here (PDF) for an overview of personal precautions to take.
We are sensitive to the fact that the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, and updates will be made per the recommendations of public health officials.
As you prepare to travel to Spoken Word, know that we are examining every step of your experience to confirm that all appropriate hygienic precautions are taken. This includes ensuring that enhanced protocols are closely observed at the Indianapolis Public Library where Spoken Word will take place.
Spoken Word will partner with the Indianapolis Public Library to ensure that health and safety procedures are accessible should any urgent situations occur during Spoken Word, including helping anyone who may feel ill. Additionally, hand sanitizer will be made accessible throughout Spoken Word to students and guests.
